Carlene, a financial advisor in training, was previously a high school teacher for 10 years. Hope College is her alma mater, with a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education, history and psychology. Having a Masters of the Arts degree in Sociology and the Head of Social Emotional Learning at her previous school, relationships are of the utmost importance in her approach to both her personal and work life. Her approach to financial advisory revolves around putting clients’ needs and interests first. Carlene takes the time to listen and understand the unique financial circumstances, short-term objectives, and long-term aspirations. By creating personalized financial plans, she strives to provide tailored solutions that align with their risk tolerance and time horizon. As an advisor, her goals are to facilitate a positive experience, provide tailored financial strategy and break down financial planning in an understandable way, ultimately leading clients to their best financial life. Outside of work, Carlene enjoys: spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs, travel, reading, puzzles, performing arts and trying new things.
